REVELATIONS. If you told me 5 years ago I would be doing a home workout DVD with the title of “Buns”, I would have dismissed you as a nut job. Well, not only did I do it last night but it kicked my buns. It was tough and I would have been able to push harder if I wasn’t such a spazz learning new moves. Just a great workout. So impressed with Piyo. I don’t get on the scale much because that is not really what it is about for me but I was shocked last night to see I now weigh 190 lbs. At 6’3” that is my lowest weight in 20 years. I have a very thin frame and I spent my teens and 20’s trying to build mass and the first part of my 30’s trying to build or maintain mass. I got up to 227 at one point. Sure it helped me hit home runs and I thought I was pretty cool but at 40 I can say 190 feels very refreshing on my joints and so does the flexibility work with Piyo. I literally feel 10 years younger than I did just a year ago. All that said, I feel Body Beast calling my name again just because I love lifting weights but these first few weeks of Piyo have reminded me that when it comes down to it, how you FEEL is the true meaning of health and fitness. Oh and one more thing; you can indeed mix a “Buns” workout with some classic heavy metal! #piyo #piyoworkout (at zillafitness.com)
